Maybe I just haven't figured out how to do it, but if not, then I'd like to suggest that you allow more than one image per step.

I end up copying/pasting multiple images into another application then screenshot the combination. would be slicker to do this within SS

Jeff's solution is the only way to get two images in a single step in version 2. Another solution for some folks is to create a step with a title and an image followed by another step with an image and then instructions. The images will appear to be part of the same step when exported, assuming you have the instructions appearing below the image.
Support for multiple images in a step is something we have planned for a future version of ScreenSteps.

Hi Trevor,
I keep running into situations where I would badly need this. Do you have an ETA as to when this might be implemented? I see that the feature is planned which is awesome but I need this now! ;)

Hi Stéphane,
It will be implemented in version 3.0 but we have no ETA for 3.0 yet. Unfortunately you will need to find another workaround for the time being.

Not a problem! I have Snagit anyway so I can use that and its editor for the cases when I need to images in a step. Thanks for the info!

You're welcome. I'm glad you have a solution for the time being.

I would need two images side by side, not one after the other. eg. compare old and new version.
Editing two images and then inserting them as one is not a solution, as long as the number badges can't be set to start at a certain place. I'm going like (1) copy function and then have a number badge in the old version and should have the same in the new version.

Badly need this facility - any update on when it will be available because my first outing with Clarify stumbled because of this.

Sorry, nothing new to announce at this time Andy.
