Accessibility requirement for our web pages - adding alt tags to all images with a text description for screen readers, for sight-impaired users.
At the moment the HTML template exports a blank alt tag, which can be modified later with a text/HTML editor.
Would love to be able to do it within ScreenSteps.

We are looking at including some sort of support for this in 2.9.
I believe strongly that any software used to generate content ought to be designed to ensure that information is universally accessible. Without such built-in design, the users of the inaccessible software are complicit in creating content that may exclude blind people and others with disabilities.
I don't consider manually editing a text file to represent sufficient accessibility. Many users these days really don't know how to do that kind of work, and, even if they do, it's a lot of extra hassle. It's been shown over and over that if accessibility is easy, it's more likely to be done. Sadly, the reverse is true. If it's too hard, people will just skip it.
Allison Sheridan and others have heavily promoted ScreenSteps as an excellent tool for delivering instruction. I sincerely hope the developers of ScreenSteps will find a way to show leadership by making sure their software itself is accessible to people with disabilities and that the content it creates is accessible.

Great to hear this, Trevor! I shall look forward to 2.9.
(Completely off-topic, my gratitude for adding clipboard support for pasting lessons into email, it was very useful for a recent software support issue).
