Just purchased the pro version and installed it on my WinXP pro laptop.
I get random crashes when trying to capture images via the Capture palette or when resizing images in the steps area.
I can provide more information if needed and can also give screenshot of dump.
Is this a known issue?

Update - we have been working through this issue with nant and have located what is causing the crash. The problem occurs whenever you scroll the lesson list, topic list or lesson. If anyone else encounters this issue please report it here. The crash does not occur in 2.0.2 so you can use that version until we get this fixed.
A 'me too'.
Also using Windows XP Pro, 2002, SP2
Downloaded 2.0.3 build 67 trial version from website today and got the same problem as soon as I tried to scroll a lesson.
Is it possible to download 2.0.2 as a trial version?

We have found the cause of this crash and have come up with a fix which we should be releasing later today. The update will also include a fix for a handful of reports we've had of crashes on startup when running on Windows XP. This was being caused by the libraries used for data encryption.
remarkable timing... 45 minutes ago, I just downloaded the trial version, installed it, crashed, crashed, crashed -- decided to look up troubleshooting on the forum & came across this thread.
Thanks, in advance, for the quick fix...
I have posted a test build for anyone experiencing these crashes. We will be releasing the official build a little later on. If you are experiencing crashes on Windows and want to confirm that this build does in fact work for you that would be great.
Windows: http://www.bluemangolearning.com/download/screensteps/2_0/release/ScreenSteps%202.0.3b70.exe
Mac: http://www.bluemangolearning.com/download/screensteps/2_0/release/ScreenSteps%202.0.3b70.dmg
No crashes within the first 10 minutes -- I've done a number of screen caps, scrolled around (which is what would reliably cause it to crash), added some boxes & lines, scaled some of the screen caps, added basic text, etc....
So it seems to be working correctly (at least as far as getting rid of the crashing problem).
We have released version 2.0.4 which addresses the crashing issues on Windows. You can grab the new version from our downloads page: http://www.screensteps.com/downloads
