1. Our deki is setup to connect with an LDAP, however I can't use those log ins. I can only log in with a local account. Does this sound accurate?
2. It seems that I can only upload a lesson once. If I make changes and try to upload it again, the Export to Blog/Web says that it has already been uploaded and click "Upload Again". However when I do that I get a error message that says, "A problem has occurred while uploading the lesson: Bad Request"
Just curious to see if anyone else is getting this...
Thanks
Ed

To answer my question 2... It looks like if I delete the existing page on the wiki it will then upload again.
Hi Ed,
1) I'm not sure if this is supposed to work or not. I will check with the folks at MindTouch and see if the MindTouch API supports LDAP users.
2) In our tests using the latest version of MindTouch Deki replacing a lesson works. What version of Deki are you using?
Could you also tell me the path you are uploading to and the name of your lesson? I can check if that either of those variables could possibly cause a problem.
We are using version 8.05.2. However, we didn't update to versions a or b.
I have been typing the short paths in... so the path that I have typed is "Wiki_FAQ" the actual address is http://wiki/Wiki_FAQ.
I will see what I can find out from the MindTouch engineers. I need to find out what would cause Deki to return "Bad Request".
I tried uploading to the "Wiki_FAQ" path and the replacing and didn't have any problems so that probably isn't the issue.
I will let you know what I find out.
I haven't heard back about LDAP support yet but I have an idea as to what might be causing the "Bad Request" error message when updating a lesson.
The only difference between uploading a lesson for the first time and replacing a lesson is that media files are deleted from MindTouch Deki before the lesson is uploaded when you performing a replace. If one of the media files had already been deleted then I think you would see this error.
I have prepared a ScreenSteps build that will silently ignores these errors and performs the update. Can you download this version and let me know if replacing a lesson works for you?

Regarding LDAP - Try entering your domain and username in the following format in the Web Export configuration User Name field:
domain\username
Do LDAP users work then?
Hey sorry about not replying yesterday but I got distracted on actually work...
About the updating pages, it kinda weird. I have 2 wiki's running, the first is a beta site that I test all kinds of craziness on and the other is our production site that everyone uses. The update of pages doesn't work on the beta site (which doesn't concern me) however it does work on the production site. And that is without the r14 version that you posted. I will install the r14 in a little bit and try that on the beta site later for your information...
As for the ldap, I actually just got working... The issue is caused by how we set up our ldap connection. We set the "displayname-pattern" to {cn}. This changes the way that your name is displayed from eengle to Ed Engle. It also changes the username that you need to use in ScreenSteps, the ldap log-in doesn't work however if I use the Ed_Engle as my username and my ldap password as the password.... it works fine and I can upload without any issues.
Thanks for all of your help...
Ed Engle
No problem. Glad you got everything working. Let us know if you have any other questions.
