Hi all,
i have reviewed the lesson on importing libraries.
http://bmls.screenstepslive.com/spaces/screensteps/manuals/screenst...
What I'm looking for is a way to move lessons between libraries. I want to be able to pick and choose exactly which lessons to move or import (in your terms). But this is a fix for a symptom.
The real source of the problem is that I'm not remembering to switch back and forth between the various libraries when I create a new tutorial. So I end up with tutorials from different projects or clients, all living in the same library.
Also is it possible to see all of my libraries/folders in the outline pane. This might serve as a reminder to me to choose my folder first > and then add a new lesson.
Thanks for your help with this.

You can move individual lessons between libraries by exporting/importing lesson packages. See this lesson:

Right now ScreenSteps only lists libraries you've opened in the File > Recents menu.
I would love to have all libraries available at the same time as well. Then, and being able to move lessons around them easily.
That is a feature we are considering for a future version.
My libraries are getting big and I am getting nervous.
I use screensteps like a filing cabinet, so I create many new documents every day.
I have different libraries for different customers, my own company, personal stuff but sometimes I get over-excited and create something in the wrong place and I feel dread every time I delete something after I move. Also, I work on several machines at once, and there are libraries on both of them, and I need to be able to easily duplicate some documents across them. So we need move and copy, please...
A drag-and-drop library organizer would be a mighty thing.
Now I remember - I suggested it here:
